From the life of a maid

Costume tour in the Wewelsburg

" ... My maid writes to me that I must buy oxen ..."
From the diary of Kaspar von Fürstenberg from May 5, 1595

On this exclusive guided tour in maid's costume, you have the opportunity to follow the servants in the prince-bishop's secondary residence in Wewelsburg on an anecdote-filled journey into the past.

Anna, a maid in the prince-bishop's secondary residence in Wewelsburg, gives an amusing insight into the everyday life of the Westphalian nobility and servants in a castle and, of course, also reports on social life at Wewelsburg Castle in the Renaissance period.

Afterwards, guests can enjoy a drink with Renaissance-style confectionery by the Wewelsburg's kitchen fireplace.
