Museum tour: Where the sparks fly

On this guided tour, the old Bleiwäscher smithy comes back to life for you.

Since the 1980s, the Wewelsburg District Museum has owned the original equipment of the old Bleiwäscher forge, which was operated there for many generations by the Balkenhol family. During this guided tour, an experienced blacksmith will demonstrate his traditional and original craft, and who knows, you might end up forging the iron yourself while it's still hot...
The visit to the forge can be combined with other programs on request.
